A very unique opportunity to purchase a 'never before sold' Sterling vintage medal featuring St. Bridget (St. Brigitta), patron of newborn babies, Ireland, Dairy workers and cattle. 3 grams. 3/4 inch in diameter. The back is suitable for engraving. Designed by Struck at the renowned Adolphe Penin foundry in Lyon France. From the unsold inventory of The Catholic Art Store in business from 1906 to 1962 in San Francisco specializing in imported Sterling and silver medals and medallions as well as crucifixes and rosaries from France.
