This is a 100% Wool Quality Made Long Lasting Brown Scapular that Honors Saint Patrick A Patron Saint of Ireland on one end and St. Brigid, the only Woman Patron Saint of Ireland on the other end. Saint Patrick was a Fifth-Century Romano-British Christian Missionary and Bishop in Ireland. Known as the "Apostle of Ireland", he is the Primary Patron Saint of Ireland, while St. Brigid is the Only Woman Patron Saint of Ireland. Brigid was venerated as “Mary of the Gael,” a Saint for Women, Shepherds, Beggars, Refugees and those in Childbirth. Her feast day, February 1, In 2022, the Irish government finally acknowledged Brigid’s importance by declaring a new National Holiday on her Feast Day of February 1.
